American Songwriter is pleased to premiere “Who Are You Listening To?,” a blues rock cut from New Brunswick musician Matt Andersen’s upcoming album, Honest Man.

On Honest Man, Andersen explores political and personal endeavors like on “Who Are You Listening To?,” a song he penned during a “pre-election social media flood.” The track pairs a prominent blues rock opening with an electrifying guitar solo and begs listeners to form their own opinions during election season.

Andersen teamed up with New York R&B producer Commissioner Gordon to record the 10-track album out on Feb. 26 via True North Records. The album serves as the follow-up to his JUNO Award-nominated 2014 album Weightless.

“Gordon has worked with so many different people, like Santana and Quincy Jones, on so many historic albums,” Andersen said in a release. “He has such a great approach and was able to tie-in so many new ideas to what I’ve done in the past without losing touch with my sound.”
