SoundExchange is seeking to distribute nearly $1 million in unclaimed digital performance royalties to artists and copyright holders at this year’s South By Southwest festival in Austin, Texas.

The pioneering non-profit performance rights organization has put out a list of artists and labels attending this year’s festival who are owed digital performance royalties, but have yet to register to receive them. To collect these unclaimed royalties, artists/copyright holders must register at: http://bit.ly/SXRegistration. They can also stop by booth 400 at SXSW for more information.

SoundExchange is authorized by Congress to collect royalties from Internet radio, satellite radio, cable TV music channels, and other digital streaming services on behalf of artists and copyright holders, but needs the neccessary information before they can send out checks.
