Billboard.com is reporting that Travis Tritt filed suit against Category 5 Records for fraud. Tritt claims that the CEO, Ray Termini, and Category 5 misled him and exaggerated their skills.
Termini also serves as CEO of Haven Healthcare, a nursing home company headquartered in Connecticut, that recently filed for bankruptcy. The state of Connecticut is conducting an inquiry into the use of Medicaid of funds in connection with Category 5 Records. Termnini denies any mishandling of funds.
Tritt seeks up to $10 million in damages.
