While not giving away too many details about her performance, a video surfaced on YouTube showing Carter on stage. With cameras and a large crowd surrounding her, the American Idol singer decided to spread some Christmas cheer with” Santa Claus Is Coming To Town.”

Abi Carter Produces Stunning Cover Of Sam Barber’s “Indigo”
Outside of the Christmas season, Abi Carter also shared another performance on her Instagram. While performing in front of millions on American Idol, the rising star decided to sit in an open field and let her voice carry through the air. Performing “Indigo” by Sam Barber, the song first hit the radio in November when it released with the album Restless Mind.
While still finding her way in the music industry, Carter appeared excited for the future as she told the Desert Sun, “I think the coolest thing is that I am actually figuring out who I want to be in real-time, and I think everybody’s finding out with me. I’ve been in writing sessions these past few days, and, oh my gosh, the songs that I’ve made have made me feel like I’ve cracked the code. This is what I want to do, this is what I think my sound is, this is who I think I am as an artist and as a person.”
