Stage crashers love to interrupt shows, especially at rowdier country music concerts. One fan (or hater, it’s not entirely clear) found out pretty quickly that crashing the stage at a controversial figure’s concert isn’t always a wise choice.
On Thursday night during a Jason Aldean concert in Savannah, Georgia, a man attempted to jump the stage Aldean was performing on. The individual got as far as the edge before he was tackled by both security and police. The stage-crasher was then dragged away as Aldean finished his song.

Aldean, who is currently on his Highway Desperado Tour, seemed annoyed during the altercation between the stage-crasher and the police. At one point, he appeared to walk away from his microphone as the incident was unfolding and removed his guitar from his shoulders. The first security guard appears to pull the stage-crasher to the ground before police intervened.
In a few different fan-filmed videos of the incident, it appears that the individual is throwing up a “rock and roll” gesture with his hands. Because of this, most fans believe he was a rowdy fan who took things a little too far.
“Well that’s got to be the dumbest thing he’s ever done in his life,” Aldean allegedly said.
Typically, most concerts will have a minimum of four feet of space between the stage and the audience. Metal railings are also typically installed for an added layer of protection for the performers. There appear to be metal barriers in at least one of the fan videos of the Georgia concert. Though, it looks like the crowd is much closer to the stage than the standard four feet.
Why Were There Police At Jason Aldean’s Show?
Police were likely present at the Jason Aldean concert in Georgia for a number of reasons. After the tragic shooting at Route 91 Festival in Las Vegas back in 2017, a number of country stars have been more vigilant in having police present at their concerts.
Just as well, Aldean is a vocal Trump supporter. He likely had police present in the wake of the attempted assassination of the former president earlier this month.
