AmericanaFest 2024 Kicks Off in Nashville, Americana Honors & Awards Coming to The Ryman

AmericanaFest is back in Music City. Beginning on Tuesday, the 24th annual event is set to take Nashville by storm. There will be five days of seminars, panels, networking opportunities, and intimate showcases.

On night one, attendees can choose from events such as BMI’s kick-off party, a string band throwdown, and a writer’s night. Additionally, performances from artists including Ken Pomeroy and Hawktail will take place at venues such as Cannery Hall and 3rd & Lindsley.

Wednesday’s cornerstone event is the 23rd annual Americana Honors & Awards at Ryman Auditorium. Six member-voted awards and several lifetime achievement honors will be handed out at the event. Additionally, fans can head to venues including Station Inn and The Basement East to see performances from Ruthie Collins, Chatham County Line, and more.

Thursday brings performances from Matt Joe Gow, Robert Vincent, and Sydney Quiseng at the iconic Bluebird Cafe. Artists including Lee DeWyze, Wyatt Ellis, and and Chris Smither will also play sets at other venues.

The penultimate day will include a Bob Dylan listening session, as well as can’t miss performances from Kim Richey, Tenille Townes, Amythyst Kiah, and more.

On the festival’s final day, attendees can spend the morning at a gospel brunch at City Winery. Later, they can take in sets from Julie Williams, Ashley Monroe, and John Oates Acoustic Band, among others.

Online sale for AmericanaFest passes are now closed. However, fans can still get in on the action by purchasing tickets in person at various venues for $125.
