Brandy Clark Faces Self-Doubt In New Video for Brandi Carlile Collaboration “Dear Insecurity”

The impactful message of Brandy Clark and Brandi Carlile‘s striking collaboration “Dear Insecurity” comes to life in its new music video. Released today (October 10), the Trey Fanjoy-produced clip finds the award-winning artist and a cast of characters coming face-to-face with their own anxieties and doubts.

“I think this video brings this song to life better and bigger than I could have imagined,” Clark shared in a statement. “Trey really had an amazing vision and executed it so well. We all have insecurities, and I really feel like this video and all of the characters in it show such a great cross-section of all of us.”

“Dear Insecurity” is the stirring single from Clark’s self-titled record, produced by Carlile and released in May. The gifted singer/songwriter’s fourth studio album has earned widespread acclaim for its raw and deeply personal lyrical narratives.

Later this week, Clark will continue her ongoing fall tour, which will stop in cities across the U.S. through mid-November. This January, she’ll join Carlile for her annual Girls Just Wanna Weekend event in Riviera Maya, Mexico, alongside Allison Russell, Lucius, Janelle Monae, and more.
