ARTIST: Angela Perley & The Howlin’ Moons

SONG: Ghost

BIRTHDATE: Feb 25th, 1986.

HOMETOWN: Hilliard, Oh.

CURRENT LOCATION: Columbus, Oh.

AMBITIONS: To continue to grow and challenge myself and to live a comfortable life doing what I love. Longer tours, more festivals, and to always take inspiration from the places and people I meet. Also more vintage hats and dresses…

TURN-OFFS: Catcalls, mean people, flourescent lighting, and fast food.

TURN-ONS: Creativity, the moon, fluffy animals, and good food.

DREAM GIG:  Sea-side rooftop show in Italy on a full moon with The Rolling Stones.

FAVORITE LYRIC:

Oh like a bird on the wire

like a drunk in a midnight choir

I have tried in my way to be free

(Leonard Cohen)

CRAZIEST PERSON I KNOW: Who is not crazy that I know?

SONG I WISH I WROTE: Like a Rolling Stone by Bob Dylan.

5 PEOPLE I’D MOST LIKE TO HAVE DINNER WITH:

Wanda Jackson, Elizabeth Taylor, Billie Holiday, Bob Dylan, and Mick Jagger.

MY FAVORITE CONCERT EXPERIENCE: Seeing Wanda Jackson at the 2011 Nelsonville Music Festival in Ohio. I swear she pointed at me and winked during Funnel of Love… I adore her.

I WROTE THIS SONG: I wrote this song to try to capture a feeling I have always had that I couldn’t grasp. It’s about longing and wanting something you aren’t really sure exists. It’s abstract like a dream.
