ARTIST: Inland Sky

SONG: “Little Hands”

BIRTHDATE: 10/9/81

HOMETOWN: Nashville

CURRENT LOCATION: Nashville

AMBITIONS: To write an incredible full length and release it in summer.

TURN-OFFS: Pride. There is a fine line between taking pride in what you do well & being prideful in who you are. It’s  very thin but I prefer to hang and create with folks that live humbly. Honestly,I believe that your never as good as some people say and your never as bad as others may say. Your somewhere in between and its best not to give it much thought.

TURN-ONS: My wife.

DREAM GIG: Not sure. I’d love to travel and tour with some folks later this year in Europe again. I might hit up Matthew Perryman Jones or Mindy Smith with this idea. Maybe they’ll bite. Could be fun. Its been to long since I’ve had myself a real guinness over the pond.

FAVORITE LYRIC: ” The smell of hospitals in winter

And the feeling that it’s all a lot of oysters, but no pearls”- Counting Crows “Long December”  – can’t say its my #1 favorite. Not sure what is. but I love this lyric. It hit me to the core when I heard it.

CRAZIEST PERSON I KNOW: Just walk down Broadway here in Nashville. You will meet some fantastic folks. Also I once had a girl purpose to me named Checky. That was interesting.

SONG I WISH I WROTE: “Let It Be”

5 PEOPLE I’D MOST LIKE TO HAVE DINNER WITH: Jesus, Ansel Adams, John Lennon, Vincent van Gogh, My grandfather who I never got to meet.

MY FAVORITE CONCERT EXPERIENCE: I toured in France a while ago and played a concert for about 5k french kids at this event. It was so incredible. Won’t forget it.

I WROTE THIS SONG: For my little girls. They are amazing and I learn from them daily.
