I WROTE THIS SONG: I wrote this song after reading many autobiographies and documentaries from rock stars who survived the drugs, booze, excess and craziness of rock n roll and the music business back in the day. I tried to think about how their perspective is now that they’re older and looking back on all the things that nearly killed them.
