Videos by American Songwriter

ARTIST: Patrick Cornell

SONG: “Need To Bleed”

HOMETOWN: Dayton, Ohio

CURRENT LOCATION: Nashville, Tennessee

AMBITIONS: To stay ambitious.

TURN-OFFS: Gold diggers (girls who date guys solely because they have money and/or fame).  I’ve had both at different times in my life and I seem to be very popular when I do, not so popular when I don’t.  Hmm…

TURN-ONS: Nice people who are honest all the time, even when the news is bad.  I just can’t say enough about simply being a nice person and honesty.  I’m a big boy, I can handle any news you’ve got, just give it to me straight.  I’ll do the same.

DREAM GIG: Selling out Madison Square Garden.

FAVORITE LYRIC: “I have dined in palaces, drunk wine with kings and queens, but darlin’, oh darlin’. You’re the best thing I ever seen.” “Roll Um Easy” by Little Feat.

SONG I WISH I WROTE: “Beast Of Burden” by The Rolling Stones.

5 PEOPLE I’D MOST LIKE TO HAVE DINNER WITH: Keith Richards, Albert Einstein, Frank Sinatra, Audrey Hepburn, Jesus.

MY FAVORITE CONCERT EXPERIENCE: The Rolling Stones in Nashville 2015.  I almost touched Keef, and we had an eye connection.  I can die now.  He’s my rock ‘n’ roll hero.

I WROTE THIS SONG BECAUSE… I felt conned by my ex-girlfriend.
