FAVORITE LYRIC: At this current time, my favorite lyric is by Marc Scibilia. “You love me like you’ve never been hurt before.” Damn that’s good!
CRAZIEST PERSON I KNOW: I’m pretty crazy.
SONGWRITING CRUSH: Bob Dylan
FAVORITE CONCERT EXPERIENCE: James Taylor
5 PEOPLE I’D MOST LIKE TO HAVE DINNER WITH: Margaret Thatcher, Stephen King, Annie Dillard, Larry King, Tom Petty
MY GUILTY PLEASURE: Ben and Jerry.
I WROTE THIS SONG: I was struggling with my mind when I wrote this song and felt compelled to whisper into the ears of my greatest fears and say, “I will overcome you.” It’s literally about staring down your demons. Being in the darkest place possible and standing firm. Looking fear in the eye and telling it that you’ve won.
