BIRTHDATE: December 8th, 19(a lady never tells)
HOMETOWN: Long Beach, New York
CURRENT LOCATION: Manhattan
AMBITIONS: To be the go to songwriter for the stars and to make an impact on people with my songwriting.
TURN-OFFS: Ego
TURN-ONS: Honest, genuine, good people with great energy & Cats 🙂
DREAM GIG: To be writing for and with some of my all time favorite writers (Elvis Costello).
FAVORITE LYRIC: “You can’t show me any kind of hell that I don’t know already”- Costello
CRAZIEST PERSON I KNOW: My grandmother, Tina Gordon was pretty nuts, in a great way. She got divorced in her late 40’s, picked up and moved from Long Island to Manhattan and worked in a mental institution to fund her sculpting classes. She eventually became a full time Sculptor and she dressed like a crazy artist. When I decided that I wanted to drop out of college, after 2 months of barely attending, I went to her apt and she called my parents and told them that I wasn’t going back to school and that I was “an artist” like her. I think I inherited a lot of my style, creativity and craziness from her.
SONG I WISH I WROTE: That’s a really tough question because there are so many but what first comes to mind is, “If I fell” by The Beatles, those melodies, HOLY MOLY! I am a huge sucker for melodies.
5 PEOPLE I’D MOST LIKE TO HAVE DINNER WITH: John Lennon, Elvis Costello, Diane Warren, Kara Dioguardi (she seems really fun), Lucille Ball.
MY FAVORITE CONCERT EXPERIENCE: The Strokes + The White Stripes at Radio City Music Hall ages ago. Huge Dance party!
I WROTE THIS SONG: About the longing for someone who can’t give you what you need.
