The high-energy, genre-bending magic of Zac Brown Band‘s performances is the focus of an upcoming live album. From the Road, Vol. 1: Covers will feature renditions of tracks made famous by other artists, captured during concerts throughout the band’s two-decade-long career.

The first track to be revealed from the compilation is their rendition of Queen‘s famous rock symphony, “Bohemian Rhapsody.” Their lively take on the classic hit, a staple of Zac Brown Band’s live shows, was recorded during their 2015 set at SSE Arena in London.
“‘Bohemian Rhapsody’ is one of the craziest song arrangements, Freddie Mercury was a mad genius,” Brown says in a statement. “It took us about a year of working on it off and on to come up with a version that sounds like it. To pull that song off live is a testament to the ninjas in my band. It’s one of my favorite covers to do live, and getting to play it at Wembley was a huge moment for us.”

Although a track list and release date for From the Road, Vol. 1: Covers have not yet been unveiled, their recent set lists have included takes on “Adore You” by Harry Styles, Alabama’s country hit “Mountain Music,” and Radiohead’s trademark single “Creep.”
Fans have multiple chances to experience Zac Brown Band’s seasoned live show before year’s end. Their ongoing headlining From the Fire Tour will stop at select U.S. cities, including Tampa, Baltimore, and Denver, before wrapping up in early November.
