‘American Idol’ Runner-up Will Moseley Set for First Arena Show In Home State—Thanks to Famous Country Music Band

During the finale of season 22 of American Idol, fans watched as Abi Carter and Will Moseley stood beside each other, waiting to hear their name. With there only being one winner, Carter walked away as the newest American Idol. But even though he left as runner-up, Moseley was thrilled about his accomplishments on the show. And not remotely letting the loss get him down, the country singer is set to release his new song “Everything But Me” just before hitting the stage with the Zac Brown Band.

Building a faith fanbase while on American Idol, Moseley continued to perform after leaving the show. He even joined forces with Mia Matthews, Emmy Russell, Triston Harper, and Jack Blocker at the CMA Fest Takeover. Determined to carve his own path in country music, Moseley found inspiration for his new song “Everything But Me” after watching his friends struggle with relationships.

With the song hitting the airwaves on December 6th, Moseley welcomed the Christmas season when he decided to cover “All I Want For Christmas Is You.” Posting the cover on his Instagram, fans showered the singer with praise. “All we want for Christmas is a full Christmas album from you now.” One fan added, “I would hands down buy your Christmas album!!”

Will Moseley Heading Home Thanks To Zac Brown Band

While spending time in the studio, Moseley received a special invitation to open for the Zac Brown Band. And loving the positivity he brought to the concert, it seems the Zac Brown Band will take over the State Farm Arena for a special New Year’s Eve show in Atlanta, Georgia. And not wanting to leave Moseley behind, the band welcomed him to perform during the special.

Excited about the future and leaving his mark on country music, Moseley gushed over getting another invitation from the Zac Brown Band. And to make it even better, the singer will perform in his home state of Georgia. “Zac Brown provided me with one of the coolest opportunities of my life, and now he has extended that opportunity again. Only this time, I will be playing my first arena show and in front of my home crowd!”
