FAVORITE LYRIC: “John Muir walked away into the mountains, in his old overcoat a crust of bread in his pocket. We have no knowledge and so we have stuff and stuff with no knowledge is never enough to get you there. It just won’t get you there.” – Greg Brown

CRAZIEST PERSON I KNOW: Adam U. Lives out at sea studying whales by summer, travels world as sponsored extreme skier by winter, writes heavy metal songs about birds amidst it all.

SONG I WISH I WROTE: “3 a.m.” by Gregory Alan Isakov

5 PEOPLE I’D MOST LIKE TO HAVE DINNER WITH: John Muir, MLK Jr,  Kenneth Balcomb, Our Grandmothers, Ani DiFranco

MY FAVORITE CONCERT EXPERIENCE: Mandy: When I was 15 I went to the 1st-ever Bonnaroo in 2002. It was out of this world (especially for a 15 year old).

I WROTE THIS SONG: Dave:…after reading all 832 pages ofThe Better Angels of Our Nature: Why Violence Has Declined by Stephen Pinker. Terribly gruesome, yet hopeful read.
