And there are several ways for those of us who wish to stay at home for the raucous occasion to celebrate with some of the biggest names in music.

From Kane Brown to Ciara to Miley Cyrus and Dolly Parton, let’s see what’s happening this weekend on television.

CBS

Scheduled to appear: Kane Brown, Jimmie Allen, Elle King, Kelsea Ballerini, Brooks And Dunn, Little Big Town, Zac Brown Band, Jason Aldean, Dierks Bentley, Luke Bryan, King Calaway, Sheryl Crow, Darius Rucker, Lainey Wilson and more.

The five-hour broadcast—airing live from Music City and crossing multiple time zones—will feature 50 back-to-back performances and will see once-in-a-lifetime collaborations from legends and rising stars alike. Scheduled collaborative performances will be announced in the coming weeks. Nashville will count down with the East Coast at midnight and keep the party going through midnight Central Time with Music City’s trademark Music Note Drop.

NBC

Miley’s New Year’s Eve Party

Miley Cyrus’ now-famous New Year’s Eve Party will air Saturday, December 31. Ring in 2023 and usher out 2022 with Cyrus and her many friends, including the most famous godmother in the world: co-host Dolly Parton.

Miley’s New Year’s Eve Party will premiere on NBC beginning at 10:30 p.m. ET/PT. It will also be available to stream on Peacock.

That guest list this year includes, according to NBC, David Byrne Lotto, Liily, Fletcher, Rae Sremmurd, and Sia. SNL‘s Chloe Fineman and Sarah Sherman will also appear in addition to the comedy trio Please Don’t Destroy. But there are sure to be many surprises and unplanned moments that will make you grin.

ABC

Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve 2023

Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve 2023 will air live on ABC, Saturday, December 31 at 8 p.m. ET/PT. The long-running show, now hosted by Ryan Seacrest (joined by Liza Koshy) from New York City’s Times Square, will feature a number of big-name guests, broadcast from three cities.

On the West Coast, Ciara will be joining the celebration, this time for prepped segments at Disneyland for Mickey Mouse’s 100 Years of Wonder Celebration. DJ D-Nice will cohost the countdown from Los Angeles. And Billy Porter will be broadcasting from New Orleans, as he has done since 2019.

Ciara will perform from Disney, as well as Fitz and the Tantrums, Maddie & Tae, Shaggy, Ben Platt, Aly & AJ, Halle Bailey, TOMORROW X TOGETHER, Bailey Zimmerman, and Lauren Spencer Smith.

The L.A. broadcast will also feature a number of big musical names, including Wiz Khalifa, Finneas, Armani White, Betty Who, Dove Cameron, and Nicky Youre.

In Times Square, K-pop star J-Hope will hit the stage, as well as Duran Duran and New Edition. TikTok star Jax is also slated to perform, including the viral hit, “Victoria’s Secret.”

CNN

CNN’s New Year’s Eve Live

Anderson Cooper will once again return to co-host CNN’s New Year’s Eve Live with friend Andy Cohen. The duo is famous for imbibing during the telecast, which has been one of the reasons many people tune in. This year the network has announced that they will be cutting back on drinking during the telecast. Although Cohen recently told Rolling Stone he will still be drinking on air.

The show will air live from New York’s Times Square on Saturday, Dec. 31 at 8 pm ET on CNN. Performers include Usher—from his Las Vegas Residency at Dolby Live at Park MGM—Ellie Goulding, Patti LaBelle, REO Speedwagon, Tenacious D’s Jack Black and Kyle Gass, Ava Max, and more.

More to Watch This Weekend

The Late Show With Stephen Colbert on Friday (December 30) will air a re-run of the episode with performer Alex G.

The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon will feature Miley Cyrus Friday night (the interview originally aired on December 9), talking about her New Year’s Eve special, which garnered more than 6 million viewers last year.

Jimmy Kimmel Live will welcome musical guest Weezer for a performance on December 30 (the original air date of the episode was December 15).

Have a great and musical New Year’s Eve everybody.
