The singer announced the surprise show on her Instagram story. She provided very little information on what the show will entail. Possibilities include a preview of the larger tour she is set to embark on in February. Fans can find any remaining tickets, HERE.

Part of the proceeds from the show will go toward Rodrigo’s non-profit Fund 4 Good.

“Its initiative is to raise awareness for certain groups that are championing women’s issues in America and all of the other territories I’m going to,” Rodrigo told People. “I’m very excited, and I think it’s going to be a very fulfilling and hopefully productive experience. Lots of the money is going to abortion funds to help provide some resources to people who are in need of reproductive healthcare.”

Rodrigo’s 2024 world tour is in support of her latest album, GUTS. The tour will kick off in February in Palm Springs. Other stops along the trek include Houston, Austin, Miami, Charlotte, and more. Rodrigo has tapped the iconic 1990s alternative rockers The Breeders, Chappell Roan, PinkPantheress, and Remi Wolf as tour support.

GUTS debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 albums charts. The milestone makes her the first female artist in nearly a decade to have two albums debut at No. 1 on that chart, the first being Sour.

“I’m grateful all the fucking time,” Rodrigo wrote on Instagram in response to the news, nodding to her GUTS track “all-american bitch.” “Thank u guys for the most love-filled, exciting week.”

Several songs on the record have become standouts, including “vampire,” “get him back!,” and “pretty isn’t pretty.”
