PSA: Oasis Will Still “Wipe the Floor” With Any Band, According to Liam Gallagher

Although known to clash with each other, Liam Gallagher and Noel Gallagher always seemed to put their difference aside for the music. Throughout their career on stage, Oasis sold over 75 million albums and gained a mountain of praise and accolades. But in 2009, the brothers got into an altercation at the Rock en Seine festival. Eventually disbanded, fans of the band were shocked when the brothers announced a reunion tour in 2025. Having been years since they performed together, Liam promised the band could still “wipe the floor” with any other group.

With Oasis making a return, both Liam and Noel received a great deal of attention over the last few months. But recently, Liam shared an interesting question he was asked, “Got asked a ridiculous question yesterday so are OASIS gonna be as good as you once were because when sone bands get back together there not as good I said listen here you C**T even on our bad day we’ll still wipe the floor with majority of bands out there BUMBACLART LG x”

Seen over two million times, fans offered their thoughts on the statement, writing, “Oasis will be as good as ever. The songs are epic and stand the test of time. Can’t wait.” Another person added, “You’ll prove all those people wrong and it’s gonna be excellent.”

Liam Gallagher Claims Brother’s Wife Blocking Band’s Return

Outside of defending Oasis, Liam also opened up about his brother and how much he wanted to return to the stage. He told Q Magazine, “He’s desperate to get Oasis back but he knows he’s crossed that bridge. And he’s not allowed to, his missus (Sara MacDonald) won’t let him now, cos she’s another one.”

Not shying away from his thoughts, Liam continued, “I know for a fact, deep down, he wants to be playing stadiums… You can only play stadiums when I’m there. I don’t think our kid’s got it in him anymore, anyway. It seems to me like he’s playing to the snobs and the world and the toffs.”

Oasis is scheduled to make their triumphant return in July 2025 when they perform at the Principality Stadium in Cardiff, Wales.
