While Blake Shelton leaving The Voice shocked fans, the singer explained he wanted to spend more time with family and his wife, Gwen Stefani. Having spent the majority of his life in the spotlight, Shelton hoped to enjoy some time off in Oklahoma. But just because he isnโt competing on The Voice doesnโt mean he isnโt working. Continuing to record music and even collaborate with stars like Post Malone, the singer recently surprised diners at his Ole Red bar in Oklahoma when he took the stage.ย
With the bar packed with people, it seemed like the perfect time for Shelton to pop in. But the people werenโt just there to eat as The Swon Brothers were set to perform. For fans of The Voice, they will remember the country music duo from season four. Although the brothers signed a deal with Arista Nashville, they ended up finishing in 3rd on The Voice. Still, not letting the past hold them back, the brothers received a special treat when Shelton introduced them.ย

Fans loved the video as many comments praised Shelton. โOle Red has great food and Blake gives us veterans 50% discount on food. I love the bison chili. Itโs so delicious. Thanks Blake for your support.โ Other comments included how fans wished they were there.
Blake Shelton Heading To Las Vegas
Outside of his time at Ole Red, Shelton also prepared for his upcoming residency in Las Vegas. Scheduled to kick off in February 2025, the country singer appeared on Jimmy Kimmel Live! to plug the shows. And to Kimmelโs surprise, Shelton shared how Stefani got irritated with him when he called it a residency. โWell, โresidencyโ is a stretch, I think. In fact, Gwen gets a little bit irritated when she reads or, when she sees this, sheโs going to be like, โQuit calling it a residency,โ because itโs six shows that Iโm doing. She did, like, 60 or 70 shows, you know.โย
While Shelton isnโt spending the same amount of time in Vegas as Stefani, the country singer decided to perform a limited amount of shows for a reason. โI was at her first eight shows in a row, so I know what thatโs like, and thatโs why I said, โAll right, six. Iโm good with six, I think.โโ
