Both make excellent yet similar music, and both stand a chance at bringing home the Grammy for Best Album next week at the 51st Annual Grammy Awards. Radiohead are nominated for In Rainbows, the album they released after emancipating themselves from their old record company, EMI. Coldplay are nominated for Viva la Vida or Death and All His Friends, the album EMI hoped would sell enough copies to keep them in business for another year.
Both face stiff competition from Ne-Yo’s Year of the Gentleman, Alison Krauss and Robert Plant’s Raising Sand, and Lil Wayne’s Tha Carter III.
Radiohead have won two Grammys in the past, while Coldplay have scored four since debuting in 2000. Both bands are scheduled to perform at the Awards show on February 8th.

2 be honest i prefere Coldplay! Im not really in 2 Radiohead’s songs but they are a great band! I just prefere coldplay because i love their music and they make me smile! + They were in The Simpsons( My favourite show in the world)!! But thats just my opinion, I respect Radiohead fans!
