During her decades on stage, Dolly Parton did more than create a massive career in the music industry and Hollywood. With each interview, the country singer showcased her loving nature and longing to give back. Always wanting to help those in need, Dolly gained more than stardom and she soon became country music royalty. And speaking of royalty, it appears the country star hoped to not only meet the Royal Family but wanted to take Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis to Dollywood.

Speaking with Closer, Dolly expressed her idea of inviting the royal family, which included Kate Middleton and Prince William, to Dollywood. She insisted, “Oh, I would absolutely love for them to come to Dollywood, that would be fantastic! The kids could go on all the rides and we would treat them like royalty.”
While a day at Dollywood with Dolly sounds like a dream come true for most, the singer’s hospitality went far beyond that as she also wanted to cook for the family. She promised, “I’d give Kate my mashed potatoes – I wouldn’t put on any airs for them.” Dolly continued, “I would just let them enjoy what we enjoy, and I’m sure that’s the way they would want it. I would love to have those kids at Dollywood.”

Dolly Parton Missed A Chance To Meet Kate Middleton
Although the royal family hasn’t made any plans to visit Dollywood, Middleton once tried to have tea with Dolly. Sadly, the two couldn’t make it work as the country star was on the road, promoting her Rockstar album. “I felt so bad, I couldn’t even go because they had all this stuff set up.” While heartbroken over the missed meetup, Dolly revealed she wanted to focus on her album. “She wasn’t going to promote my rock album, so I had to say no.”
Staying focused on her work, Dolly believed she would get the chance to share time with the royal family eventually. Calling Middleton “sweet and nice”, the hitmaker insisted, “one of these days I’m going to get to do that.”
