Harry Styles Invited a Group of Ukrainian Refugees to His Show in Poland

Harry Styles invited a group of Ukrainian refugees to his concert in Warsaw, Poland, amid his Love on Tour trek. According to the International Rescue Committee, the “As It Was” singer invited a woman, her teenage daughter, and her daughter’s friend to the show a year after they evacuated their home country as Russian troops were flooding into Ukraine.

“Since being forced to leave our home in Ukraine last year, it’s been a challenge adjusting to life in a new country – especially for my daughter, Daria, and my 10-year-old son,” the woman, Maryna, told IRC. “I’m so grateful to Harry Styles and the IRC, which has supported me to pursue my dream career in Poland, for giving us the chance to forget our worries for a night, and sing and dance at the concert.”

The organization provided photos of the trio at the concert. Check those out, HERE.

Maryna partnered with IRC soon after the Russian invasion of Ukraine. The organization helped her find a job placement in Poland, learning to become a tram driver. The group is just three of six million Ukrainians that were forced to leave their home over the last year.

Styles is on the tail-end of his sprawling Love on Tour. The superstar has been on the road for several years now, completing two album cycles along the way.

The singer-songwriter has had many memorable moments along the tour run including stopping a show in Wales for a pregnant fan, a historic 15-night run at Madison Square Garden, and more.

At a previous European show, Styles announced that we would be taking a break after Love on Tour wrapped up. “We’re gonna finish these shows and then I’m gonna go away for a bit,” Styles told the crowd in the UK. “I wanna tell you that I will miss you. Thank you so much for making this the absolutely greatest experience of my life.”

Styles has only a few more tour dates left in Europe. Find his remaining dates, HERE.
