This might be the greatest thing we’ve ever seen. In the ongoing web series Breakfast at Solimay’s, three Philadelphia seniors listen to and critique the latest music of hip hop artists and indie rock bands like Animal Collective, Andrew Bird, Matt and Kim and Dan Deacon. The three-person critiquing crew give surprisingly unbiased and fair-minded reviews (no one says “turn it down, you’re making too much noise!”); like when reviewer Bill compares Eminem’s rhyming cadences to Gilbert and Sullivan.
