Whether or not Jane’s Addiction can get it together to record new material, Perry Farrell’s brainchild, Lollapalooza will be back this year.

The lineup has just been announced, and it includes Jane’s Addiction, Depeche Mode, Tool, the Killers, Beastie Boys, and Kings of Leon as headliners. Jane’s will headline for the first time since the festival debuted in 1991 as a travelling road show.

Also on the bill: Andrew Bird, TV on the Radio, Vampire Weekend, the Decemberists, Neko Case, Animal Collective, Band of Horses, Of Montreal, Arctic Monkeys, Coheed and Cambria, Ben Folds, Fleet Foxes, Silversun Pickups, Kaiser Chiefs, Bon Iver, Crystal Castles, Santigold, and dozens more, some 100 acts in all.

The festival takes place August 7-9 in Chicago’s Grant Park. Regular priced passes are $205.

Last year marked the first sell-out for the fest since it adopted the single-location strategy in 2005. “At Lollapalooza, we’re selling more tickets than ever,” Farrell told Reuters. “People need an even bigger excuse to escape more than ever and there is no better escape than going to a festival and just tripping and taking in music.”
