John Mayer is clearly a joker; the guy performs stand-up comedy in his spare time, and walks around in Borat-themed swim wear and bear suits. But did you know he’s a toker and a midnight smoker as well? That’s what Mayer seems to be getting at in his latest song, “Who Says I Can’t Get Stoned,” which he debuted live at L.A.’s Hotel Cafe. The video has been getting tons of play online, more so than if Mayer had written a song called “Who Says I Can’t Walk Home?” or “Who Say I Can’t Have Scones?” That’s just how the internet works.
