In June, Madonna was forced to cancel her Celebration Tour due to a bacterial infection. The singer spent several days in the ICU.

“I did not want to disappoint anyone who bought tickets for my tour,” she explained after the news broke. “I also didn’t want to let down the people who worked tirelessly with me over the last few months to create my show. I hate to disappoint anyone.

“My focus now is my health and getting stronger and I assure you, I’ll be back with you as soon as I can,” she added.

Madonna has since rescued the U.S. leg of the tour. The rescheduled dates will begin on December 13 in Brooklyn, New York. The “Express Yourself” singer will also stop in Boston, Detroit, Chicago, Atlanta, and more. Check out her full tour dates, HERE.

Since her hospitalization, Madonna has been continually updating her fans about her health. Her most recent update came last month where she thanked her friends and family for helping her through this scary time.

“As a Mother you can really get caught up in the needs of your children and the seemingly endless giving,” she wrote on Instagram. “But when the chips were down my children really showed up for me. I saw a side to them I had never seen before. It made all the difference.”
