“This next one’s called Sugar-T**s!”
Celebrated (and controversial) actor Mel Gibson has found a new thing to be passionate about: songwriting.
His girlfriend, Russian-born singer and pianist Oksana Grigorieva, who will give birth to the couple’s child in the fall, has an album coming out, called Beautiful Heartache. The classically trained pianist wrote every song on the album save one, “Say My Name,” which she co-wrote with Gibson. The track debuted yesterday on People’s website (check out the accompanying photo, taken by Bruce Springsteen’s sister Pamela).
“It is the first and one of the simplest songs on the album, but also one of the most intimate,” says Grigorieva. “It is naked, intimate, raw emotion, little more than piano and voice as if it is a cry from the soul.”
