Some musicians do their best work alone. On the other hand, some artists do their best work in groups. Concerning the latter, collaborative work has flooded and continues to flood the genre of country music. As of late, collaborations have become a staple industry tactic and a somewhat definitive way of scoring astounding success. That being said, several artists have made albums almost solely comprised of collaborative singles.

Even though collaborations have taken a front seat in the country music industry as of late, they’ve been a consistent phenomenon for quite some time. So, with that in mind, here are three country albums that feature more than five guest appearances.
‘F-1 Trillion’ by Post Malone
Post Malone’s debut country album, F-1 Trillion, has arguably been the most popular country music album in the last five years. The album has procured this unofficial title partly because it features 15 of the most popular musicians in country music.
F-1 Trillion has 18 tracks, and only three of those tracks include Malone performing solo. The 15 guests gracing the other singles include Morgan Wallen, Ernest, Sierra Ferrell, Jelly Roll, Lainey Wilson, and Hank Williams Jr.. Needless to say, it is a star-studded album.
‘Will The Circle Be Unbroken’ by The Nitty Gritty Dirt Band
The Nitty Gritty Dirt Band’s album, Will The Circle Be Unbroken, holds a special place in the world of bluegrass. Not only because it features some traditional songs, but also because the band enlisted some of the finest players to help play them.
In addition to the five members, other bluegrass pickers to play on the album include Doc Watson, Merle Travis, “Mother” Maybelle Carter, Roy Acuff, Earl Scruggs, Jimmy Martin, and several other renowned bluegrass players. In other words, the album is truly one grand ole’ bluegrass picking party.
‘Rockstar’ by Dolly Parton
While the Rockstar album is certainly Dolly Parton‘s way of leaning into rock and roll, country is a fairly appropriate genre tag given Parton’s historical role in the genre and because some of the musical techniques used on a few of the songs. Regardless, this album features more than 40 special guests, and they aren’t just any guests. They are the best of the best.
We will spare you from naming every single artist on the album, but some of the more prominent figures on it include Paul McCartney, Sting, Elton John, Stevie Nicks, Ringo Starr, Chris Stapleton, Miley Cyrus, and so many more. Dolly Parton’s album is a musical family affair, to say the least.
