Thomas Rhett Shares the Stage With ‘The King of Queens’ Star at New York Concert

While writing for stars like Jason Aldean, Michael Ray, and Lee Brice, Thomas Rhett eventually found himself in the studio. And over the last 14 years, he released No. 1 hits like “Craving You”, “Marry Me”, and “It Goes Like This.” Having a total of 20 No. 1 hits, Rhett took the stage in Wantagh, New York, for a special performance at the Jones Beach Theater. Wanting to make the night special for fans, it appeared that Rhett took some inspiration from Jelly Roll as he welcomed the star of The King of Queens to perform alongside him.

Although The King of Queens ran for nine years, producing 207 episodes, the sitcom officially ended in 2007. But recently, star Kevin James has made a resurgence. Instead of it being on television, the actor found his way to the stage. For fans of Jelly Roll, they easily remember watching James perform  “Need a Favor” at the Buckeye Country Superfest in Ohio. And to make it even better, James appeared to dress just like the country singer, minus a few tattoos.

With James appearing to be a fan of country music, he jumped at the chance to return to the stage. But this time, it was with Rhett. Performing in New York, it only seemed fitting that Rhett would invite The King of Queens to celebrate the moment. The singer even posted a collage of pictures from the night on his Instagram page.

In one picture, Rhett not only shared a smile with James but also with quarterback Eli Manning. A night full of great music and some surprise appearances, fans soaked up the moment, writing, “Such an amazing show last night at Jones Beach!” Another person added, “ An amazing show at Jones Beach last night! Was my daughter’s first concert! Smiles all night! She can’t wait to see you again!”

Having surprised fans at concerts for Rhett and Jelly Roll, only time will tell where James will pop up next. It could be a show for Nate Smith or HARDY, given that the actor appeared in the music video for “Nobody Likes Your Girlfriend.”
