It’s been Fall in all it’s splendor along the East Coast. Our day off in Boston was perfection. Postcard views, boutiques to pop in and out of, scarves and coffee abounding. I went to Fenway with family in the area to watch the Bo Sox play, Madi hung with her Berklee alum friends, & Ashley said she “accidentally bought a lot of clothes.”
The day off was a stellar way to usher us in to the next few shows. Boston’s gig at Cafe 939 was a fun one, filled to the brim with music-loving students from the area. And then we hit the kinetic, electric New York City…
Last night’s show at The Canal Room might have topped the list of tour stops up to this point. We even had a celebrity sighting who came to the show, and this well-known brunette bombshell sat in the front row the whole night. The packed room brought the energy of the city in with them when they arrived, and all our performances became more enlivened because of it. We all said last night was one of our favorite stops to date. Celebrations continued after the gig at the SoHo Grand bar…
It’s a day off in the city today, and we are all making the most of it. Trent, Mikky, KS and I just finished backing Andrew for his Fearless Music TV taping this afternoon at Crash Mansion… & he killed it. Now we are at one of my favorite places in this entire city for a most fabulous bite: Freeman’s. Speaking of, my grilled cheese with green apple, arugula and grain mustard just arrived… & mama is hungry. Must away…
Off to Cleveland tomorrow!
