2024 marked a promising year for Zach Bryan as he released his latest studio album The Great American Bar Scene. At the same time, he sought to hit the open road with his The Quittin’ Time Tour. While growing his fanbase and entertaining country music lovers all over the United States, Bryan made headlines when he decided to break up with Brianna LaPaglia. As their breakup plays out online, the country singer decided to focus on his music by dropping a new song “The World’s A Giant.”

While rumors and accusations continue to surround his relationship with LaPaglia, Bryan shared a video on his Instagram of a practice session. He captioned the video with “Worlds been a bit heavy lately, new music tonight.” And Bryan kept his word when releasing “This World’s A Giant.” Featuring a few Biblical references, the lyrics included, “I’ll say sorry to God for all the trouble I caused/Maybe that’s a good place for me to start…”
Zach Bryan Doesn’t Want To Be Labeled A “Country Musician”
After spending less than 12 hours online, the song already gained over 63,000 views as fans gushed over the lyrics and Bryan. “Zach Bryan has some of the most organic and genuine sounding music out there today. He takes elements from country and folk and really weaves his own feeling into it. Damn music is something else.” Another person continued, “Zach gotten me high toughest times. We are so blessed to have music like this in our life. I’m crying this is so good I love you so much Zach Bryan.”
Although shaping his career in country music, Bryan insisted he didn’t want to be called a country musician. Speaking with Bruce Springsteen for Rolling Stone, the singer said, “Everyone calls me it. I want to be a songwriter, and you’re quintessentially a songwriter. No one calls Bruce Springsteen – hate to use your name in front of you – but no one calls Bruce Springsteen a freaking rock musician, which you are one, but you’re also an indie musician, you’re also a country musician. You’re all these things encapsulated in one man. And that’s what songwriting is.”
No matter the definition used to describe Bryan, one thing is for certain – the star can write, produce, and sing a hit. And if his new song wasn’t enough, the singer revealed, “Another new one tomorrow.”
