Did you ever wonder what delicate flower Joanna Newsom’s songs would sound like sung by a man in a thick British accent? Well, wonder no longer. British folk music icon Billy Bragg has covered neo-folk icon Newsom’s “On A Good Day,” off her latest, Have One On Me, for The Voice Project, a charity that benefits women in war-torn Uganda. Previous contributors have included Dawes, Joseph Arthur, Andrew Bird, and R.E.M.’s Mike Mills (covering a Billy Bragg song).

Peter Gabriel recently joined in with his distinctive version of Tom Waits’ “In The Neighborhood.” Check out videos of each artist’s performance and learn more about The Voice Project here.
