The Black Keys have announced four new dates for their 2013 tour featuring special guests The Flaming Lips.

Wayne Coyne and co. will meet up with The Keys in late April and will make stops in Kansas City, Pittsburgh, Atlanta and Nashville.

This marks the first time since 2010 that The Keys have played an official show on their home turf in Nashville.

And a tour isn’t the only thing the band has in the works. Lead singer Dan Auerbach spoke with NME and says the band’s follow up album to 2011’s El Camino is just around the corner.

“We’re going to start making the new album in the second week of January and we’re hoping to have it done by sometime in March,” Auerbach says.
