Congratulations everyone for a wonderful year. I am happy for all of you. Pray that you will see Carrie Underwood record the four songs I delivered to her at the Grand Ol Opry:
1) You Know Me Now
2) I Call You Up
3) Jillian’s Rain
4) Heartaches On The Road
Note: All four songs are registered with BMI and written by me.
However, I was leaving Carrie wiggle room to co-write Heartaches On The Road.
It was also nice to see the Little Texas girl get some awards, Miranda, and see Lady Antebellum score with “I Need You Now”. I think Carrie Underwood’s Mama’s Song and Temporary Home are also well written songs with a good meaning to the lyrics.
