Is this the least offensive American Idol performance ever? To our ears, probably. Fort Worth, Texas’s Casey James, one out of nine contestants left on this season’s show, belted out a completely believable version of John Lennon’s “Jealous Guy” last night as part of Idol’s Lennon/McCartney themed episode, and later admitted that he got choked up mid-song. One things for sure: dude knows how to play the guitar.
What do you think of James’ version?
I’ve been a fan of Casey James since I heard his version of “Heaven,” and this song blew me away! He is phenomenal and is consistently a perfect performer! After last year and Adam Lambert’s loss, I’m not sure he can win given the age of most of the voters (young young young), but he is definitely a star!
