While the song the duo will be performing hasn’t been revealed, it’s expected they’ll take on a track from Stapleton’s debut album Traveller, which is up for Album of the Year. The singer-songwriter, who recently graced the cover of our September/October 2015 issue, is also up for best Male Vocalist and New Artist at the awards, which will take place at Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena Wednesday night.

Stapleton will also appear on Wednesday’s edition of ABC’s Good Morning America in anticipation of the performance. He previously appeared at the CMAs in 2013, performing back-up vocals on Luke Bryan’s “Drink a Beer.”

Other performers at this year’s awards include Carrie Underwood, Kacey Musgraves, Chris Young, Brett Eldridge and Kip Moore, with Underwood and Brad Paisley serving as hosts.
