Concert For George Streaming Free For George Harrison’s Birthday

Tomorrow is George Harrison’s birthday; he would have been 68. In celebration of the legendary Beatle’s life, Concert For George will stream for free for 24 hours at on February 25. The critically-acclaimed film captures the 2002 tribute concert at London’s Royal Albert Hall, held one year after his death, and organized by wife Olivia Harrison and friend Eric Clapton. Performers included Harrison’s son Dhani, Clapton, Paul McCartney, Ringo Starr, Tom Petty,  Jeff Lynne, and Ravi Shankar.

The film will be made available for the first time on Blu-ray and digital download on March 22. The Blu-ray will come in a two disc set, and feature the complete concert, backstage interviews, rehearsals and behind-the-scenes footage.
