DMB Tap Hold Steady, Femi Kuti, Old Crow Medicine Show for Summer Tour

The Dave Matthews Band have announced their plans for an extensive summer tour to support their upcoming studio album, due June 2nd. The tour will start May 27th in Darien Center, New York, and stretches into October, when the band plays Tulsa, Oklahomah.

Openers for the summer trek inlcude the Hold Steady, Robert Randolph, Umphree’s McGee, Swicthfoot, and Old Crow Medicine Show.

The band already has a slew of spring dates booked, beginning with a return to Madison Square Garden April 14th.

The new album will be the band’s first since the tragic death of saxaphonist LeRoi Moore in August 2008. Their last studio album was 2005’s Stand Up.
