Glee’s Matthew Morrison and The Band Perry To Play Songwriters Music Series

C.F. Martin, the makers of Martin guitars, and Songwriters Music Series, a new concert series sponsored by Starburst, are teaming up to benefit VH1’s Save The Music Foundation, the popular music education charity.

First in line to play the Songwriter Music Series will be Glee star Matthew Morrison, who portrays glee club director Will Scheuster on the hit Fox TV show. Morrison’s self-titled debut album, featuring the single “Summer Rain,” will drop May 10 on Mercury Records. Morrison will perform a short acoustic set at New York City’s Hard Rock Cafe on May 10. The next Songwriter Music Series event will feature the chart-topping country sibling act The Band Perry, who will perform at Nashville, Tennessee’s Hard Rock Cafe on June 2nd.
