Leonard Cohen Gets His Ya-Ya’s Out

lc5_0614f_2Leonard Cohen sure likes live albums. He already has three; 1972’s Live Songs, 94’s Cohen Live, and 2001’s Field Commander Cohen: Tour of 1979.

Now the singer-songwriter-slash-Buddhist disciple has announced that he will release yet another live disc, Live In London, on March 31st.

Who does he think he is? The Allman Brothers?

Live in London captures his July 17, 2008 performance at London’s 02 Arena, during an international tour that garnered Cohen some of the best reviews of his career. Boasting 26 tracks, it will be available as both a two disc set and a DVD.

You can hear the 02 version of Cohen’s most famous hit, “Suzanne,” streaming on Amazon.com today.

His upcoming Beacon Theatre performance in New York City on February 19 will be his first U.S. concert in 15 years.
