“For a few years there, when I was so taken with songwriting, I would write with everybody. I would write a song with your grandmother if you wanted me to.” Pop vocalist and songwriter LP  talks to Nic Harcourt of Guitar Center Sessions about her early days writing songs for rock icons like Blondie and Joe Walsh, and her transition to being an artist herself.

The New York native has written hits for Rihanna, Cher, the Backstreet Boys and others, and released her first solo album in ten years, Forever For Now this past June. Her appearance on Guitar Center Sessions will air on DirecTV Sunday, July 20th at 8pm.
