Mumford & Sons will return to the U.S. in 2016 for a string of tour dates dubbed the “An Arrow Through The Heartland Tour.”

The tour will be in support of the English four-piece’s latest album Wilder Mind, which saw the group work with more electric instrumentation. The band only played a handful of U.S. shows in 2015, including the Bonnaroo Music and Arts Festival in Manchester, Tenn., but will be touring more extensively this time around with stops throughout the South and Midwest, including Houston, New Orleans, Nashville and Indianapolis. Songwriter and producer Blake Mills will be opening on all but one stop on the tour.
“Touring the United States of America in many ways fulfills the childhood dream of what touring might be like,” Mumford & Sons’ Ben Lovett said in a release. “Rolling from one great city to the next, each with its own personality and uniqueness whilst remaining familiar enough at the same time. Waking up every morning with a conversation amongst us about who wants to visit ‘that’ bookshop or ‘the’ ultimate music shop or whatever the various cities had to offer.”
