Wednesday, March 27 will be a big night for Nashville’s local Americana music scene. Nashville-based artists Cale Tyson, Heidi Feek and Derek Hoke will make their way to The Basement for an evening of songs of love, heartache, and everything in between.
Heidi Feek will be returning to the stage for her first solo performance in over two years. The talented daughter of Joey + Rory brings soul to her music through a moving, low-register voice. Feek will release her debut full-length album later this year. Right now, you can watch her perform “There Lives a Fool” on The Joey + Rory Show.
Texas-born troubadour Cale Tyson will be releasing the digital single from his upcoming album, High On Lonesome. Tyson sings about the woes of lost love, accompanied by a crying pedal steel and reverb-soaked harmonies. He’ll have guitar legend Kenny Vaughan, who appears on the upcoming album, joining his band for the night. You can stream Tyson’s single Lonesome In Tennessee below.
