NPR Music will be webcasting some of the hottest shows of this year’s South By Southwest Festival in Austin, Texas. Tomorrow at 8 p.m. (CT), tune in to catch opening night performances from Spoon, Broken Bells, Sharon Jones and the Dap-Kings, the Walkmen, and Visqueen. The concert will be emanating from Stubb’s Bar-B-Que.

The following day at 12:30 p.m. (CT), NPR will feature a concert of prominent up-and-comers, featuring progressive Brooklyn duo Sleigh Bells, Florida indie rockers Surfer Blood, Alabama rappers G-Side, Chicago garage rockers Smith Westerns, and hipster string quartet Brooklyn Rider.

Both shows will be made available through live webcasts and live streaming via the NPR iPhone App, as well as broadcasts on NPR Member stations across the country. The NPR Music site currently features The Austin 100, a streaming music sampler of 100 hot prospects from SXSW (producers listened to 1000 acts to create this list), and a free 11-song NPR Music Sampler of SXSW bands available for download via Itunes.
