On Friday, Pitchfork unveiled their Top 500 Tracks of the 2000s list for all the world to see. It’s quite the monster.

The list’s arrival, one year early, is basically set in stone. The website will add an addendum in 2010 if anything’s changed in a year.

But for now, #20 is the Walkmens’ “The Rat,” and the #1 song of the Aughts is OutKast’s “B.O.B.”

Pitchfork writes of the 2000 Stankonia track, “Even after a decade that’s seen the act of copying music become as easy as a mouse-click, and the process of performing simplified for toy video-game guitars, the future-shocked ferocity “B.O.B.” is something that just cannot be duplicated.”

Check out the full list here.
