Paul McCartney has endurance, and that isn’t even referring to the longevity of his career. Paul McCarney has physical endurance. On June 12, two days before his two and a half hour set at Bonnaroo, McCartney will be the focus of The Colbert Report‘s one-hour special. Colbert will interview the Beatles’ frontman, which will follow with performances of the songs from his Out There tour, his reissue of Wings Over America, and more. Not bad for a 70-year-old.
“I think this McCartney kid’s got something special and I’m gonna put him on the map!” Colbert said.
McCartney first appeared on his show in 2009 for an interview, but this will be his first time to perform on Colbert.
