Rayland Baxter Shares New Single, Announces Album

rayland baxter

Rayland Baxter released “Yellow Eyes,” the first single off his upcoming LP Imaginary Man, out August 14 through ATO Records. The follow-up to his 2012 debut feathers & fishHooksImaginary Man was recorded in Nashville with Adam Landry and Eric Masse, featuring guest musicians like Bucky Baxter, Jessie Baylin, Mikky Ekko and Delta Spirit’s Matt Vazquez.

“To me, Imaginary Man is an audible record of my journey down the bright blue river of imagination. It is a multicolored dream of song, a sonic birdbath if you may,” Baxter explains in a press release. “The sounds and songs are as visual as they are tactile and it shows a bit more of who I have become as an artist, as continual and never ending as that process is.”
