Sierra Hull Has Friends In High Places

Sierra Hull is a 19-year-old singer-songwriter and mandolin wunderkind, whose new album, Daybreak, was produced by Barry Bales, the bass player in Union Station. Hull made her Grand Ole Opry debut at the age of 11 with Alison Krauss and Union Station.

Hull postponed her music career to attend Boston’s Berklee College of Music, where she received their Presidential Scholarship for outstanding musical merit — the first ever bluegrass musician to receive the award.

She’s also been praised by Chris Thile, Alison Krauss and Dolly Parton, who says “Sierra is truly a beautiful and talented gift to this world, so special and unique. Daybreak is an awakening.”

Check out Hull’s debut video, “Easy Come, Easy Go,” which is already the #2 video on CMT.com, and see what all the fuss is about.
