Nashville’s Ten Out Of Tenn collective, a rotating roster of artists and singer-songwriters, have banded together to release We Are All In This Together, a benefit compilation where all the proceeds benefit Nashville flood victims.

The disc features exclusives tracks by Ten Out Of Tenn artists Butterfly Boucher, Griffin House, Katie Herzig, Matthew Perryman Jones, Trent Dabbs, Joy Williams, Andrew Belle, Madi Diaz, Jeremy Lister, and Tyler James.

“The goal in creating Ten Out Of Tenn was to represent the diversity of musicians coming out of Nashville’s vibrant music scene,” says Ten Out Of Tenn co-founder Kristen Dabbs. “Although many of the artists arrive from all over the world, we all feel a love and connection to this city that has influenced and shaped our paths and careers. Nashville is home.”

Dabbs continues, “Torrential downpours flooded our beloved city only a few weeks ago, lifting the Cumberland River that runs through downtown 13 feet above flood stage, causing over $1.5 billion in damage, killing 30 people and leaving hundreds without a place to stay. Everyone in Nashville has been affected directly or indirectly. Aside from our individual efforts to assist family and friends, we felt that this was a way to contribute as a group to the rebuilding of the city.”

We Are All In This Together, which was released on Tuesday, May 25, has already reached #71 on the iTunes pop charts.

  1. Neil Young is someone I live to see. Been seeing him since I was a kid. He never does what you expect so expect the unexpected. He is original and few are these days. I love him and his music sometimes brings tears to my eyes and joy to my heart.
